When should I start?

Before the season, not during it. Daily support is a background process and works best already in place. If your dog reacts in spring, that means starting in winter.

Is this an antihistamine?

No. It is a complementary feed, not a medicine, and it should not be thought of as a substitute for anything your vet has prescribed. What it does is support a normal histamine response as part of daily nutrition.

My dog is really uncomfortable right now.

See your vet. A dog in the middle of a bad reaction needs proper attention, and there are things a vet can do that nutrition cannot. Daily support is for the rest of the year.

Could it be something in the food?
